Are hung parliaments really such a bad thing? And why is the party system considered so critical to government? Maybe not having a majority government requires MPs to work a bit harder, and maybe it means some things take a bit longer, but is that really worse than having a trigger-happy government pushing through all sorts of legislation in a hurry? Government shouldn't be dynamic, exciting and pro-active. It's not a corporate brand. Government should be considered and deliberate.
